Spirit Whispers #3
Dear Friends,
Sunday is fast becoming my favourite day of the week. Starting with a goodly walk with a friend, followed by writing Spirit Whispers: Afterlife Messages with my Spirit husband.
Our meet-ups feel like incredible dates—full of deep, meaningful conversations and oodles of unconditional love.
Of course, I’d rather he was alive, but even connecting with him as a disembodied soul is something truly special. I feel genuinely blessed and fortunate to have the chance to spend time with him every Sunday. He also comes to me at other times when I need personal guidance, and his wisdom is always helpful.
This next topic feels especially fascinating, and I’m looking forward to channelling the insights with the intention that they support your human journey with grace andhumility.
With Love, Claire
Dear Friends,
This information invites you to clearly define how you envision your afterlife—how you want it to look and feel. Documenting it helps bring clarity, revealing what may need to shift in order to strengthen your ability to consciously shape your experience of death and your journey beyond.
This exercise will also help you confront your fears about the afterlife, especially if you feel you haven’t lived an honourable life. Remember, everyone makes mistakes—sometimes a few, sometimes many. Living your life with awareness encourages a shift in direction—moving away from fear and from the impulse to intimidate others through anger or blame.
As you continue to reflect of how you wish to experience your passing and journey to the afterlife; it encourages you to embrace the belief that human beings create their own reality. (Naturally for many, this may not feel true, as life circumstances can limit that sense of freedom in thought and belief.)
Once you are able to accept the concept that you create your own reality, it can be deeply revealing, bringing to light any illusions you may have held about yourself and others. It’s similar to acknowledging your “sins” and taking responsibility for any harm you may have caused—yet without the fear of punishment.
It also involves recognising how you may have allowed others to hurt you, often stemming from a lack of self-worth or feelings of not being good enough. This can also be a time to learn how to pray—not to a deity, but to your Higher Self, the greater consciousness of self that awaits you in the afterlife. Through the insights you may receive in connecting with your Higher Self, the journey toward forgiveness—both for yourself and others—can be greatly accelerated in the present moment.
Whenever you make changes to your documentation, create a new document so the original entry remains intact for reference. The journey from the very beginning holds truths that help you recognize the areas of spiritual growth and emotional freedom you have experienced, from the initial steps to the potential final draft.
This practice doesn’t need to be daily unless you choose; you can revisit it monthly or yearly—whenever it feels right for you.
I do, however, recommend revisiting it at least four times a year. While much personal growth and spiritual awareness occurs unconsciously, significant changes are still taking place. By setting the intention to update it, you actively co-create your journey, making regular revisions meaningful and sometimes necessary.
By connecting with your Higher Self, you co-create a sense of ease around your death and invite this aspect to participate in your daily life. Simply documenting your wishes and desires for a conscious life and death helps you build a bridge to the Heavenly realm where your Higher Self resides.
This is not unlike having a Light Being as a best friend. It is also a wake-call to something that is not external to you, but the multiple aspects of self that have transcended the destructive tendencies of human nature and evolved consciously.
Until next time, dear friends, entrust your fears to Universal Consciousness. In doing so, you cultivate emotional clarity and enhance your capacity to live consciously, moving toward the end of life with grace and ease.
With Love, A Guiding Spirit
Next Time- I would like to continue exploring the divine purpose of cultivating a conscious relationship with your Higher Self.
And while it is truly wonderful to commune with your Spirit Guides, the key to deeper communion with your Guides lies in knowing your Higher Self more intimately. Your Higher Self acts as the Protector, filtering incoming information, healing, and guidance.
The key word is Protector; to trust guidance from the Light Realms, you must first feel safe and secure. It also requires being ethically conscious about what you seek from them, so you can navigate life honourably while embodying compassion.
